Very, very solid game! I definitely want to see future entries that involve other types of entities. Game has a real SCP feel about it and I loved it. Very good work, especially for a game made in only a week for a game jam.
7.4/10 - I'm excited to see more (30 mins), the game has so much going for it whether it's the setting, the amazing art-style, the backstory and the main objective. It does a great job at creating an interesting but tough situation which you have to find your way out off, which is enhanced by the world that you're in.
I really thought that the way SCP's are caught in this world makes it realistic in the context of the whole SCP universe and it adds additional lore which I would love to see more.
I enjoyed how the game contained 4 different endings as they worked well in the context of the game. But I had a slight issue with the good ending, due to the item that was chosen to contain the SCP. As the item which contained it felt like it strayed from what was described by the tips, I'm unsure if it was a misunderstanding from me but I do think the tips or item should've been a bit clearer (As I think there is a contradiction with the tips given). I only ended up choosing the item on around my 10th go.
Overall this game does feel like a demo to a larger game where you investigate 3 or 4 more individuals with different entities so I'm hoping this game is expanded on. I know the game was a 7 day Jam so what has been created so far is really impressive and I can see how much potential this game has.
For being made for a gamejam this was really solid! Definitely has huge SCP vibes which I am a huge fan of! Made a video on it.
Thank you so much for sharing! Like some others here I felt strong SCP vibes and I loved it! Would be super interested in more :) awesome work you all!
Wow. Closest I've ever felt to playing an SCP. I would play a whole series about it. Surprisingly tricky too, I don't know if I would ever be able to do it in the allotted time my first try.
Also the two spookiest parts weren't even connected to the main mystery!
(spoilers....
the guy in the elevator and the creepy guy on the other side of the grate)
An intriguing game. I was a bit confused at first, but once I found the right object, it all made sense.
Very nice game!I like it.GOOD JOB! :)
The game was way more complex for the Jam and I do think it needs more balance, but I can't deny the brilliance of it!
I was fully immersed in the gameplay right out of the gate. The muted colors, the Noir style atmosphere, felt like "Blade Runner", but with more paranormal. I really loved the sketches and I just wish the gameplay was a bit simple and we had more time exploring and asking the residents about what happened in the apartment. Overall - solid game.
Best of luck with the game jam developers!
Awesome artstyle!
The atmosphere of this thing is amazing. I love this sketchy artstyle you've given it. My only issue is just how difficult it is to beat? Maybe I'm stupid but after four attempts I felt I should stop before my endearment toward this game turned to annoyance.
Very cool! I really loved the transition from the mainly 2D intro to the 3D environment - it caught me off guard and was a very pleasant surprise!
I love the atmosphere! Everything about this game feels like an indie studio that knows what they're doing. I'd love to see the other entities and this game being fully fleshed to life! :D
